The Cayman Cookout stands out in the culinary calendar—a vibrant intersection of flavors and talents under the warm island sun. It’s here that my philosophy truly comes to life: to seek and savor experiences that enrich us.

This year’s BBQ was an energetic showcase, with celebrity chefs turning up the heat with their mastery of the grill. Amongst the sizzle and smoke, every dish told a story of innovation and culinary courage.

The highlight was undoubtedly the encounters with culinary giants Jose Andres, Andrew Zimmern, and Daniel Boulud. Their insights were as much about food as they were about living fully and embracing every opportunity.

A standout session was the Grilled Octopus class led by Chef Pano Karatassos. It was an education in balancing tradition with creativity, a skill that resonates with my approach to life and work.

At the Cayman Cookout, it’s not just about sampling exquisite dishes but about the people and the skills behind them. The chefs, the shared meals, and the stories create a recipe for moments that matter.
